About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, to be an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team ensuring that all candidates have a positive and seamless experience during the recruitment process and that new hires are effectively onboarded into their roles.

As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the first impressions of our future team members and ensuring their success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Partners, serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and updates.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork, background checks, and pre-employment requirements are completed.
  • Ensure all candidate compliance requirements are met, including the collection and verification of necessary documentation (e.g., reference checks, working rights etc) including Australian Energy Market Operator and Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act critical roles.
  • Work in partnership with the HR Protective Security Advisor to stay informed of any changes in compliance regulations that may impact the hiring process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve candidate experience, onboarding processes and compliance procedures, suggesting and implementing enhancements where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment coordination, HR support or a related field.
  • Ability to build strong and successful relationships with internal stakeholders across geographically multi-location teams.
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities simultaneously along with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of the energy sector will be highly regarded.
