Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Mental Health Liaison Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health assessment, risk assessment, and recommendations for management to patients within the General Hospital location.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the South Metropolitan Health Service values of Care, Respect, Excellence, and Teamwork. You will work collaboratively with your team members to ensure the best quality and care of your patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health assessment and risk assessment to patients within the General Hospital location.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate.
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or a related field.
- Experience in mental health liaison or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
