We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Liaison Specialist to join our team at Wavemaker, c/o Finance Plus. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to older persons in rural and remote areas.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive mental health care plans for older persons in collaboration with healthcare professionals and service providers.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health care pathways and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and service providers to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work, and registration with the relevant professional association.
- Be eligible for registration as a Mental Health Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate, along with a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing consumer and family-centred care, with highly effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
