Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Peel and Rockingham Kwinana (Pa RK) Mental Health Service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health assessment, risk assessment, recommendations for management, shared care and treatment, and prevention of mental health problems for patients within the General Hospital location.

This includes specialised clinical psychological assessment and evidence-based treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health advice and support to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the South Metropolitan Health Service values of Care, Respect, Excellence, and Teamwork
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
  • Conduct mental health assessments and risk assessments
Requirements

To be suitable for this position, you will need to have:

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in providing mental health advice and support
