Our Expectations

  • To manage the day-to-day operation of our store, ensuring it is well-maintained, clean, and meets the highest standard of presentation.
  • To recruit, train, and supervise staff, including conducting performance reviews and identifying talent for upskilling.
  • To implement promotions and events as directed by management.
  • To place orders for stocks and oversee inventory to ensure product availability and freshness, managing waste for cost control, and devising strategies to minimize waste.
  • To lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer satisfaction by promptly and professionally attending to customer enquiries.
  • To ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • To manage daily front and back-of-house operations while upholding safety and food quality standards.
  • To prepare regular reports on store performance, including sales, staffing, inventory management, and providing recommendations for operational improvement.

Necessary Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a retail manager is required.
  • Experience in Japanese Cuisine is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English is crucial due to the emphasis on Front of House duties, and proficiency in other languages such as Mandarin and Japanese is considered beneficial.
