Senior Energy Consultant Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Consultant to join our team in Australia Wide Engineering Recruitment. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity for talented professionals to work on energy efficiency projects, leveraging their expertise in sustainability and building services optimization.

About the Role:

This is a challenging position that requires strong analytical skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience in developing energy-efficient solutions, working closely with clients, and managing projects effectively. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Building Services, or Electrical Engineering, is required. Additional certifications like NABERS Assessor qualification are also desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive energy management plans to reduce emissions and improve building performance.
  • Lead project teams to deliver high-quality results, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct site audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Building Services, or Electrical Engineering).
  • Strong analytical skills, including systems engineering approach and ability to apply operations technology to drive energy efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Membership in professional organizations like AIRAH or Engineers Australia.
  • NABERS Assessor qualification.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • Proven experience in HVAC design, commissioning, operation, tuning, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies.
  • Research, analysis, and report writing skills.
