Origin Energy: Tax Strategy Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Strategy Leader to join our team at Origin Energy. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

As the Tax Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for delivering tax advice and ensuring tax compliance for Origin Energy and its subsidiaries. This includes managing tax risk, developing and implementing tax strategies, and providing guidance on complex tax matters.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including our Group Financial Controller, to ensure alignment with our business objectives. Your expertise will also be instrumental in identifying opportunities to improve our tax processes and reduce risks.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of tax professionals and manage external relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders. Your ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals will be essential in driving business outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $180,000 per annum, plus additional benefits. If you have over 15 years of experience in taxation, a qualified CPA/CA, and a Master's degree in Tax or Chartered Tax Adviser designation, we encourage you to apply.
