We are seeking an exceptional Renewable Energy Specialist to join our System Planning team at Essential Energy.

About the Role

This is a pivotal opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to make a meaningful impact on the energy industry's future. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges in the energy network.

You will have extensive experience in a similar engineering role in the energy/electrical and/or utilities industry, with a complete knowledge of current network design philosophies, procedures, statutory requirements, and Essential Energy Electrical Safety Rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level technical advice and support to stakeholders on energy network projects and operations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve energy network performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and opportunities

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage diverse and complex technical issues
  • Demonstrated experience in managing implementation and monitoring outcomes of enterprise required audits and providing reports with recommended improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver technical services in a professional and timely manner

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification as aligned to the Washington Accord
  • Drivers licence
  • WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate

We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience, salary from $129,522 plus 16% superannuation plus allowance.
