Siemenrsquo;s Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Grid Solutions team in Australia.
About the RoleAs the Head of Grid Solutions, Australia, you will be responsible for spearheading the implementation of the energy transition in the region. You will report directly to the Vice President, Grid Solutions Asia Pacific & China.
In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of professionals and be responsible for achieving business targets, improving market exploitation, and increasing market share. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of the country sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead business opportunities for HVDC, FACTS, Offshore Wind Systems, and Substations by analyzing customer investments in the Australian market.
- Position the business as a strategic partner with major customers, developing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Instigate and manage business development activities, fully understanding competitor positions and strategy to develop and maintain market share.
- Define, develop, and ensure the implementation of global and regional growth strategies for Grid Solutions in Australia.
- Ensure effective operational setup, capitalizing synergies in collaboration within Grid Technology execution units and across Siemens Energy Business Areas.
- Lead and develop the workforce, ensuring maximum productivity and effectiveness.
- Master or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Technical knowledge and business operation experience/knowledge of common technologies related to Grid Solutions.
- Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, marketing, or sales.
- Leadership experience and proven track record in people management.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
- A competitive salary of approximately AU$200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
