Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our claims assessment team, you will be responsible for assessing the validity of worker's compensation claims, making informed decisions about liability, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess claims to determine liability and make recommendations for resolution;
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve positive outcomes for both workers and employers;
  • Liaise with third-party stakeholders, including solicitors, medical professionals, and investigators;
  • Collaborate with the team leader to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize performance;
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as law or business.
