About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Support Specialist to join our client, a leading player in the Australian telecommunications sector. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for HR to contribute to driving innovative solutions.

Job Overview

The successful applicant will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and be responsible for providing essential HR support across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with day-to-day administration of the HR function, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services to employees and management;
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes to secure top talent and ensure a smooth transition into new roles;
  • Managing employee records and databases to maintain accurate and up-to-date information;
  • Preparing HR reports to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders;
  • Addressing employee queries regarding HR-related matters in a timely and professional manner;
  • Participating in HR projects to drive business outcomes and improve HR processes.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A solid understanding of HR concepts and principles;
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and management;
  • Excellent organisational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals;
  • Any relevant qualification or experience in HR will be highly regarded but not essential.
