About the Role

  • Address operational challenges, manage budget variances, and optimize resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with agronomists to develop effective nutrition plans.
  • Oversight pest and disease control, maximize production, and monitor tree health for optimal yields.
  • Promote a culture of precision, safety, and productivity while reinforcing company policies.
  • Evaluate training needs, manage team performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in macadamia orchard operations, including irrigation, fertigation, pest management, and harvesting.
  • Demonstrated ability in budgeting, expenditure management, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Tertiary qualifications in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field.
