Job Title: Macadamia Area Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orchard Operations Manager to oversee the management of macadamia orchards in the Bundaberg region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement operational programs across multiple properties
  • Lead and develop teams to ensure safe, high-quality orchard work
  • Maintain accurate records, analyse data, and prepare management reports
  • Address operational issues and manage budget variances
  • Contribute to operational planning and oversee contractor engagement
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Expertise in macadamia orchard operations, including irrigation, fertigation, pest management, and harvesting
  • Proven experience in budgeting, expenditure management, and forecasting
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Tertiary qualifications in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field
