Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced coordinator to join our team in managing the allocation of support workers to clients requiring immediate service and ongoing roster management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily scheduling and allocation of support workers, ensuring workforce capacity, client satisfaction, and compliance with relevant standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily scheduling and allocation of support workers through the deployment pipeline
  • Firm understanding of relevant practice standards, including NDIS Code of Conduct and Quality and Safeguards
  • Handling escalated client issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaising with client support coordinators, plan nominees, and next-of-kin for accurate details
  • Coordinating with accounts and payroll teams for shift confirmation and adjustments
  • Understanding client NDIS plans, goals, and care plans for proper allocation of support staff
  • Relaying important updates and alerts to clients and support workers

Requirements:

  • Experience in disability care and the NDIS
  • Background in allocations, rostering, and scheduling
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Updated first aid and CPR certification
  • Current police check
  • Working with children check
  • NDIS worker screener check
  • COVID-19 infection control training
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • NDIS module certificate

Preferred Position Type: Casual, with potential for full-time employment based on performance and experience.
