XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is a leading provider of innovative software solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Data Governance Expert to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data governance frameworks, operating models, policies, processes, and procedures. This includes detailing and refreshing data governance roles and responsibilities, stewardship models, and RACI matrices.

You will have the opportunity to work with leading tools such as Informatica, Collibra, and Talend to implement data governance, data quality, data catalog, and data privacy controls. Additionally, you will be exposed to regulatory compliance standards like APRA, GDPR, CCPA, and map the requirements for implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Proven track record in developing comprehensive data governance frameworks, operating models, policies, processes, and procedures.
  2. Ability to detail and refresh data governance roles and responsibilities, stewardship models, and RACI matrices.
  3. Proficiency in identifying and managing data assets, associated critical data elements with appropriate data management controls and metrics.
  4. Experience in operationalizing data governance activities, enforcing adherence and adoption, monitoring, and tracking DG KPIs.
  5. Hands-on experience in implementation for data governance, data quality, data catalog, and data privacy controls using leading tools.
  6. Exposure to regulatory compliance standards like APRA, GDPR, CCPA, and mapping the requirements for implementation.
  7. Strong knowledge in data management fundamentals and detailed experience in data warehouse or data lake implementation.
  8. Tools/technology certification and domain knowledge in the financial sector would be preferred.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
