About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance and Compliance Expert to join our team in Australia/New Zealand.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for enabling and supporting data governance education and data management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable and support data governance education and data management services to complement the roll out and embedding of Data Governance Framework across IAG.
  • Contribute to the uplift of data literacy, culture, and capability through the delivery of education services, materials, roadmaps, guild sessions, and communities of practice such as the Data Stewardship committee.
  • Regularly review and update training content to align with Data Governance Standards, Privacy Laws, and Regulations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in data governance or data management.
  • Understanding of various compliance obligations under the Australian Privacy Act and other relevant regulations (e.g., APRA).
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of drivers of economic value, the insurance value chain, competition, and the regulatory environment.
  • The ability to deliver training materials in technology-related domains.
