Job Description

Our client, a leading Australian Financial Services business, is seeking an experienced Data Governance Expert to join their team. With a rapidly growing presence in the FinTech sector, they are committed to building a 'best in class' data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies and processes in collaboration with the business.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive data mapping strategy.
  • Enhance existing data management processes and implement data provisioning solutions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate data utilization and documentation.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards.
  • Promote change within the organization by gathering requirements and translating them into actionable insights.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be a seasoned Data Governance expert with a passion for challenging yourself in a rapidly evolving industry. Key qualifications include:

  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders to understand strategic challenges and recommend intelligent data governance solutions.
  • Strong technical proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, preferably with experience in MS Azure platforms (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst capacity will be highly advantageous.
  • Financial Service/FinTech industry experience is preferable.
Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This figure is based on industry standards and the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation packages.
