Job Overview
XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Expert to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effective management and governance of our data assets.

About You
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in developing comprehensive Data Governance Frameworks, Operating Models, Policies, Processes, and Procedures. Your expertise should include detailing and refreshing DG roles & responsibilities, stewardship models, RACI matrices, and identifying and managing Data Assets with appropriate data management controls and metrics.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves operationalizing Data Governance activities, enforcing adherence and adoption, monitoring, and tracking DG KPIs. You will also be responsible for hands-on experience in implementing data governance, data quality, data catalog, and data privacy controls using leading tools like Informatica, Collibra, Talend, etc. Additionally, you will have exposure to regulatory compliance standards like APRA, GDPR, CCPA, and map the requirements for implementation.

Your Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have strong knowledge in Data Management Fundamentals and detailed experience in Data Warehouse or Data Lake implementation. Tools/technology Certification and domain knowledge in the financial sector would be preferred.

Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 per annum, commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive package that includes a base salary, superannuation, and other benefits.
