About the Role

As a Data Governance Specialist at IAG, you will play a vital role in shaping our data management services and education. This position contributes to enhancing data literacy, culture, and capability through the delivery of education services, materials, roadmaps, guild sessions, and communities of practice such as the Data Stewardship committee.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable and support data governance education and data management services to complement the rollout and embedding of the Data Governance Framework across IAG.
  • Review and update training content to align with the Data Governance Standards, Privacy Laws, and Regulations.
About You

We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in data governance or data management. You should have a deep understanding of various compliance obligations under the Australian Privacy Act and other relevant regulations.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance or data management.
  • Strong understanding of drivers of economic value, the insurance value chain, competition, and the regulatory environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
