Salary Package

The role offers a competitive remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.

Job Description

  • Assess client's needs and implement educational training with support programs.
  • Provide direct care duties for individual clients as specified in the Personal Care Profile, including assisting with physical and mobility requirements.
  • Facilitate community inclusion and participation, dependent on individual needs, abilities, and preferences.
  • Carry out and promote positive routines/duties/activities in a cooperative, respectful, and flexible manner.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of organizational and Departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Assessing client's needs and implementing educational training with support programs.

  4. Carrying out and promoting positive routines/duties/activities.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in disability services, community work, or related fields.
  • Relevant qualification.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, community groups, and other organizations.
  • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by disabled individuals and their families.
