Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage the oversight of staff working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme business framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable and elderly people, including those with disabilities and their carers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating residential services to participants in receipt of Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation. They will also develop and submit service quotes to the NDIA and other funding programs, while managing compliance with processes and procedures in relation to the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission.

About the Role:

  • Oversite of staff working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme business framework.
  • Oversite of compliance with practice standards and guidelines for staff.
  • Coordination of residential services to participants in receipt of Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation.
  • Developing and submitting service quotes to the NDIA and other funding programs.
  • Management of safe work practices including identifying and mitigating risks associated with community service delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Selection Criteria:

  1. The ability to effectively supervise teams and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the development and submission of service quotes to government agencies.
  3. A broad knowledge of the community care sector and its operation, including an understanding of the needs of vulnerable and elderly people.
  4. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Health, Community Services, Aged Care or Disability.
