We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Rockhampton, Queensland.
As a Civil Designer, you will work on projects delivering solutions in urban, land and subdivision projects within Perth and surrounds.
The role will suit an experienced Civil Designer who has worked on multi-disciplined civil projects for councils, local government, main roads, or developers.
Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)
Interpreting civil design requirements of state government, local government authorities and private sector clients
Interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping
Interacting with clients regarding project needs
Key aspects of the role include:
- Designing and developing civil engineering projects from concept to completion
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client needs
- Providing expert advice on civil design and construction matters
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Demonstrated senior civil designer experience in urban, land and subdivisions
Relevant qualifications, such as a Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated experience using 12D software
Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
