12D Civil Designer Position

We are seeking a skilled 12D Civil Designer to join our Community Development team in Rockhampton, Queensland.

The successful candidate will work on projects delivering solutions in urban, land and subdivision projects within Perth and surrounds.

This role is suited for an experienced Civil Designer who has worked on multi-disciplined civil projects for councils, local government, main roads, or developers.

We cover master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes. We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D software (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)
  • Interpreting civil design requirements of state government, local government authorities, and private sector clients
  • Interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping
  • Interacting with clients regarding project needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Senior civil designer experience in urban, land and subdivisions
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience using 12D software
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
