As an Operations Manager, you will lead a committed team to success and drive the future of logistics using the latest technology. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and controlling operations for customers to ensure a safe working environment coupled with cost-effective operational activities
  • Instilling, driving, and managing a safety-first culture by promoting and auditing safe work practices and training measures
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery supporting their annual business plans
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and stakeholders both internal and external

We're seeking individuals with extensive experience in distribution centre management, preferably within a 3PL environment. You should possess exceptional leadership skills, strong labour planning, and cost management expertise. A passion for health and safety is essential, along with excellent people management skills and a strong customer service focus.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in distribution centre management ideally gained from within a 3PL environment
  • Strong leadership experience with at least 3 years' managing teams
  • Exceptional end-to-end knowledge of supply chain operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management, and improvement opportunities
  • A passion for health & safety with tangible experience of improving the safety culture on site
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
