  • This is a leadership position responsible for setting the strategic direction of supply chain activities, leading the team in development, implementation, and execution of supply chain processes to achieve timely order fulfillment and business objectives.", "
  • The role involves overseeing the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers, including planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, warehousing and distribution, logistics and transportation.", "
  • It requires demand planning and forecasting, ensuring sufficient and appropriate inventory levels through collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, and finance, and forecast future demand using historical data, market trends, customer behavior, and other factors.", "
  • The Supply Chain and Logistics Director must also oversee procurement, inventory management, supplier management, contract negotiations, transportation, fulfilment and customer service to enable an optimal supply chain and minimize disruptions.", "
  • In addition, the role involves establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis, identifying areas for improvement in supply chain processes, implementing changes, and tracking performance metrics.", "
