We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Claims Advisor to join our Sydney-based team on a 12-month maximum term contract, with the potential for permanent employment. This role offers a hybrid work environment following the training period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to ensure accurate assessment of individual claims.
  • Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met by reviewing ongoing medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports.
  • Develop effective strategies to resolve claims cost-effectively.
  • Ensure early access to appropriate rehabilitation to facilitate optimal recovery from injuries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to legislative authorities, employers, and injured workers by adhering to legislation, responding promptly, and processing claims efficiently.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Workers Compensation claims or personal injury claims with a track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for customers.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including listening, building rapport, communicating complex information, and negotiating with various stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative and written skills to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within the restraints of State legislation.
  • Strong commitment and high degree of integrity to meet and exceed customer expectations.
