Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Financial Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Manager in ensuring the effective management of finances and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage the operation of Council's Store, Revenue function, and prepare annual financial statements.
  • Review financial aspects of operational plans and delivery programs, and quarterly budget reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A University Degree majoring in Accounting or more than five years' experience in a senior accounting position.
  • Experience in preparation of annual financial statements, long-term financial plans, and budgeting.
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
