Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Lead to join our team at eFinancialCareers Ltd. as a key member of our Internal Audit and Operational Excellence function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Operational Excellence strategy for the Enterprise, driving a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise to identify opportunities for process redesign, quality improvement, and best practice utilization.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and bottlenecks.
  • Develop actionable recommendations to address opportunities identified, with a focus on optimizing and enhancing processes, workflows, and systems.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting opportunities, recommendations aligned to better practices, and expected benefits.
  • Communicate recommendations and expected benefits to Middle and Senior Management for consideration in prioritization for implementation.
  • Oversee the timely and effective implementation of recommendations by the relevant Business Unit, providing advisory support as needed.
  • Assist management with the implementation of recommendations, where appropriate.
  • Help establish and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of recommendations implemented by the relevant Business Unit.
  • Provide Business Units with operational excellence advisory support on any material new or changes to processes, workflows, and systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of Management and Board reports.
  • Help enhance Operational Excellence capability across the Enterprise through developing and implementing process improvement tools, methodologies, and training.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in process improvement, operational management, or a related field.
  • Extensive financial services experience, preferably in retail banking or consumer lending.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies and change implementation.
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and engagement skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, including thoroughness in reviewing data, processes, and documentation.
  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset.
