Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager

At Tesla, we're seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) functions, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Energy product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and operational process support to O&M service teams across all energy products
  • Improve and standardise process flows across the service organisation
  • Oversee training development & delivery to service teams, ensuring tracking and compliance
  • Project management of various initiatives during product service lifecycles
  • Oversee service equipment, tooling and spare parts planning programs
  • Conduct data analytics, report writing, monitoring, develop and present operational KPIs
  • Provide insights and ongoing reporting to drive continuous improvement across the organisation
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide cross departmental program management/development assistance
  • Work with key stakeholders including Engineering, Reliability, EHS and Training departments across technical, operational and product related matters
  • Set up and manage multi-party logistics and fleet vehicle programs
  • AP/AR (PO) process development and management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably electrical engineering
  • 5+ years of experience working within maintenance and operations
  • 2+ years of experience creating Scopes of Work for maintenance or electrical services
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and logistics operations
  • Experience in CMMS management
  • Experience in process technical and operational process mapping
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in people management & leading service operation teams in fast-paced environments
  • Understanding of contractual documentation and technical schematics
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data and provide concise analysis and insights
  • Experiencing writing Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports
  • Ability to prioritise issues across multiple products, prioritising highest value targets with minimal guidance
  • Excellent computer skills especially using Excel, Outlook, MS project, PMP and Word
