Sales Leader for Partner Growth

The Territory Executive within the Partner Sales team plays a key role in sales account management, driving performance, influencing outcomes, and fostering customer-centricity. This role reports to the National Sales Manager and involves establishing relationships with store owners to retain and grow Optus customers aligned with sales performance criteria.
We seek a commercially astute, results-driven sales professional with proven business skills in sales mentoring, marketing, financial management, and influence to achieve sales and revenue targets. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and championing the Optus Partners Business Plan to deliver outstanding outcomes
- Proactively working with partners to lead performance and provide timely feedback to resolve issues
- Developing an impactful team with a strong customer focus, building leadership capability, and achieving sales and conversion targets in the territory
- Avoidance of non-compliance risks and adoption of Optus sales processes to drive customer advocacy
- Implementing detailed business plans at a store level with clear success metrics
This role requires:
- Demonstrated experience in telecommunications or consumer electronics environments
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and leading teams to achieve results
- Sound commercial acumen with a consistent record of managing and working to budgets
- Experience selling sophisticated products and tailoring solutions to customer needs
- Sales and account management expertise
- Confirmed leadership skills across all levels, including peers, senior management, and direct teams
