This role demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand, building strong relationships with senior management to perform day-to-day tasks.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Head Office in North Sydney, supporting the needs of our organisation and its residences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and provide support with reporting requirements and month-end closing journals.
  • Business Activity Statements: Reconcile and lodge business activity statements.
  • General Ledger and Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliation, monthly Payroll Tax, and maintain Fixed Asset Register.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage AP/AR functions for allocated residences.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related matters.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in Accounting or a similar role.
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Proficient in AP/AR functions.
  • Solid understanding of ledger reconciliation principles.
  • Demonstrated experience within payroll functions.
  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in Word and Outlook.
  • Aged care or healthcare experience favoured but not essential.
  • Experience with EPICOR accounting software and Epayroll/Humanforce advantageous.
