About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Solutions Analyst to join our team at Transurban. As a key member of our Core Tolling, Billing, and Collections team, you will play a critical role in driving technology change that meets business objectives.

As a Senior Technical Business Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for contributing to the analysis and design phases within our Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working closely with Architecture, Leadership, and other stakeholders to drive business solutions that meet our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Solutions and Solution Design: Embed industry best practices and provide comprehensive design documentation to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of systems.
  2. Drive System Design: Develop functional requirements, elaborate user stories, define acceptance criteria, and map current and future state processes to ensure effective business solutions.
  3. Service and API Mapping: Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of systems, and develop functional and interface specifications to support business requirements.
  4. Data Modelling: Create and maintain data models that support business requirements, and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Platform Knowledge Base: Build and maintain a knowledge base for the platform, ensuring traceability through to business requirements.
  6. Ensure Traceability: Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, and continuously improve analysis frameworks and ways of working.
  7. Develop and Maintain Documentation: Develop and maintain functional and interface specifications, and establish and maintain process and functional documentation.
  8. Lead Analysis: Lead the analysis of current processes, systems, and data flows, and develop and maintain relationships with key business and vendor partners.
Requirements
  1. +5 years of experience in Tolling, Utilities, or Financial Services sectors.
  2. Skilled in collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
  3. Solid knowledge of Solution / System Architecture.
  4. Eager to tackle complex business challenges swiftly.
  5. Experienced in designing solutions for mission-critical systems.
  6. Proficient in Customer, Billing, Collections, Data Migration, Batch, and Integration technologies.
  7. Proven experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative methodologies.
  8. Influential senior team member, fostering continuous improvement within the squad.
  9. Under-graduate degree qualifications.
