About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Technical Business Analyst to contribute to the analysis and design phases within our Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working closely with Architecture, Leadership, and other stakeholders to drive technology change that meets business objectives.

As our Senior Technical Business Analyst, within the Core Tolling, Billing, and Collections team, you will contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Business Solutions and Solution Design: Embed industry best practices and provide comprehensive design documentation.
  • Drive System Design: Develop functional requirements, elaborate user stories, define acceptance criteria, and map current and future state processes.
  • Service and API Mapping: Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of systems.
  • Data Modelling: Create and maintain data models that support business requirements.
  • Platform Knowledge Base: Build and maintain a knowledge base for the platform, ensuring traceability through to business requirements.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain functional and interface specifications.
  • Lead the analysis of current processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Establish and maintain process and functional documentation.
  • Continuously improve analysis frameworks and ways of working.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business and vendor partners.

Requirements

  • +5 years of experience in Tolling, Utilities, or Financial Services sectors.
  • Skilled in collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of Solution / System Architecture.
  • Eager to tackle complex business challenges swiftly.
  • Experienced in designing solutions for mission-critical systems.
  • Proficient in Customer, Billing, Collections, Data Migration, Batch, and Integration technologies.
  • Proven experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative methodologies.
  • Influential senior team member, fostering continuous improvement within the squad.
  • Under-graduate degree qualifications.
