Key Account Manager Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive sales professional to spearhead business growth in the Food and Nutrition sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and driving aggressive revenue expansion.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic relationships with key accounts. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the food and nutrition industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify potential new business opportunities within the Food and Nutrition sector and develop strategies to pursue them.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement tactical plans to exceed sales quotas by pursuing potential clients across assigned territories and verticals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing key accounts, ensure ongoing satisfaction, and identify additional growth opportunities.
- Market Expansion: Manage a diverse customer set in the Food and Nutrition sector, focus on increasing market share, cross-selling and upselling within the segment.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, science, food and nutrition or related qualifications.
- Proven experience in the food and nutrition industry with a technical background and a minimum of 5 years in Sales or Business Development.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
