We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

About Our Practice

Our practice is a recently established Orthopaedic Surgical center with multiple locations. We pride ourselves on providing a smooth, well-functioning, empathetic, and supportive patient journey.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our Surgeon with their administrative tasks, developing and implementing new systems, setting up consulting rooms, and delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing new practice systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Setting up consulting rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients.
  • Welcoming patients into the practice and answering phone calls in an efficient, friendly, and courteous manner.
  • Daily administrative tasks such as scanning, mail sorting, filing, and following-up patient enquiries.
  • Supporting and assisting our Surgeon in a range of administrative and ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a medical administration role (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and also love being part of a team.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with outstanding customer care and strong skill level.
  • IT Savvy with great troubleshooting skills.
