Job Title: Medical Support Coordinator

We are a specialist pain management centre dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to patients living with chronic and complex pain conditions.

This is a full-time position based primarily at our clinic, with occasional travel required to other locations as needed.

You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients. You'll assist in daily administrative operations and work closely with our specialist medical team to deliver a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner
  • Manage incoming calls, messages, and patient enquiries efficiently
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments effectively
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Process payments and claims
  • Liaise with external third parties (e.g. referring doctors, insurers)
  • Provide administrative support to clinicians and practice managers
  • Travel to other clinic locations as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical reception or healthcare admin role
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and patient-focused approach
  • Certificate III or IV in Medical Administration (advantageous)
  • Current Working with Children Check
