Invasive Cardiac Catheterization Specialist

In the invasive cardiac catheterization laboratory, we seek an expert to collaborate with cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of catheterization procedures, including insertion of the catheter and operation of electronic instruments.
- Measure cardiovascular parameters, such as cardiac output, blood flow velocity, and intracardiac pressure measurements.
- Provide education and training to new employees and students, serving as a role model within the team.
- Maintain established policies, quality assurance programs, general safety standards, and equipment quality control.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Holding current registration as a CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and/or ARRT RT(R) with a VI or CI category designation.
- Experience in an invasive cardiac catheterization laboratory for at least 6 months, performing invasive cardiac catheterization and associated procedures.
