Clinical Cardiologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join our growing service in a dynamic regional setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to elevate their career and make a lasting impact on cardiac care.

The role offers the chance to deliver high-quality diagnostic and outpatient services, while shaping the future of cardiology in our region. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care across inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.

About the Position
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives to advance the field of cardiology.
  • Lead service innovation and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Cardiology, or equivalent.
  • Subspecialty training in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging with Level 2 Adult Echocardiography accreditation (CSANZ or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated CPD engagement and minimum echo volumes at Level 2 CSANZ competency.
  • Academic/research experience.
  • Highly desirable: Qualification in Cardiac CT and/or Cardiac MRI.

  • Total remuneration package up to $528,432 p.a., including employer superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks) & Allowance ($21,500 p.a.).
