Position Overview

The Assistant Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial services and optimizing operational efficiencies. This position is integral to the organization, focusing on enhancing the reputation of Evolve FM through exceptional client engagement and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the completion of internal and external month-end financial reporting processes for assigned clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for designated clients.
  • Support the management of Client Contract Fees.
  • Contribute to Monthly and Quarterly operational reports for clients.
  • Complete Client Reporting, including Actual vs. Budget Variance with detailed commentary and accruals.
  • Provide managerial assistance to Finance Administrators and Accounts Payable/Receivable staff in their daily tasks.
  • Assist with periodic reporting as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality standards and internal controls within the finance department to mitigate risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the Finance Function to enhance the quality of financial information and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Director as needed, including during audits, and provide coverage for the Finance Manager when required.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter with a strong track record of delivering best practices and quality service. The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships and demonstrating service excellence. Key qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Progress towards formal finance qualifications (CA or CPA) is highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse range of client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complex issues.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and complex tasks effectively.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, along with analytical and reporting expertise.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Formal qualifications or progress towards finance-related qualifications (CA or CPA) are advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for managing diverse client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the capacity to handle ambiguity and complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex deliverables daily.
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
