Job Summary

The Assistant Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Director in the delivery of financial services to our clients. This includes providing high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ensuring adherence to internal controls and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality financial reports to clients, including monthly and quarterly operations reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for designated clients.
  • Manage client contract fees and provide quality input into financial reports.
  • Provide managerial support to Finance Administrators and AP/AR staff to complete their day-to-day tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and quality standards across the finance function.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the quality of financial information and reduce process inefficiencies.
  • Assist with periodical reporting and audits as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Formal qualifications or progress towards completing qualifications related to finance (CA or CPA).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basis.
  • Able to think strategically, innovatively, and solve problems.
  • Very good Excel skills, analytical, and reporting skills (including commentary).
