
Lead Learner Driver Program Coordinator

Opportunities abound in the Learner Driver Mentor Program. We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused individual to lead day-to-day operations and growth of our initiative.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering program targets, calendars, and lesson schedules. This includes maintaining a Safety Management Plan with clear risk controls for on-road lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program leadership: Coordinate program operations, develop and implement strategies to achieve program goals.
- People & Volunteering: Recruit, onboard, and supervise volunteer mentors; deliver induction and refresher training.
- Participant Experience: Manage referrals, intake, and participant data; track hours, competencies, and readiness for practical tests.
- Facilities, Simulators & Logistics: Schedule simulator sessions, manage equipment, and coordinate vehicles for supervised drives/tests.
- Data, Reporting & Growth: Maintain accurate records of lessons, hours, and outcomes; prepare reports for the management team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must be a tech-savvy facilitator/coach who can run driving simulators and support beginners. Proven experience coordinating programs, volunteers, or logistics in a community setting is essential.
A clear, compassionate communicator who builds trust with young people, families, and mentors is required.
