About the Role

Northern Health is a major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community, and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north. We provide services through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. We are seeking a highly experienced Operational Director who will play a pivotal role in continuing to shape Northern Health's operational culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership across Northern Health's operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient patient care.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on operational excellence, patient safety, and employee engagement.
  • Manage and develop key hospital operations, ensuring alignment with Northern Health's strategic vision and values.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in operational leadership within a large and complex healthcare setting, proven success in managing hospital operations, access, and service delivery, and a strong understanding of current healthcare trends and innovations. The estimated salary for this position is $170,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
