Job Description:

As a Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating programs that cater to the rehabilitation needs of individuals in custody.

The Department of Justice and Community Safety seeks an individual who can provide support, guidance, and motivation to help people in care achieve positive behavior change and effective engagement.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and delivering programs across specialist portfolios, assessing suitability for program participation, and aligning program activity with individual case plan goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of rehabilitation needs and issues experienced by people in custody
  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating programs, preferably in rehabilitation or social services
  • Ability to work with difficult-to-engage individuals and groups
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse cohorts
