About This Role
\As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in program coordination to provide support and guidance to colleagues within Corrections Victoria at Marngoneet Correctional Centre.
\This is an ongoing, full-time role that offers the chance to work collaboratively with a high-performing team in the Victorian Public Service. Our team is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for rehabilitation and providing a successful transition back into the community.
\The facility has a strong focus on achieving positive outcomes and provides a range of engaged services. Our skilled workforce provides supervision and case management, aiming to strengthen rehabilitation pathways.
\About The Business Unit
\Marngoneet Correctional Centre and Karreenga Annex is a medium security facility housing a mix of sentenced and remand men. It is located 6km north-west of Lara and 20km from the centre of Geelong, approximately 70km from Melbourne. The role of the facility is to contain men in custody safely, securely and humanely, focusing on individual needs and providing a successful transition back into the community or on their continued journey through the prison system.
\About The Role
\In this role, some of your duties will include:

- Coordinating and facilitating psychoeducation and/or skills-based programs as required within the Region\
- Monitoring program referrals from Marngoneet Correctional Centre (Including Karreenga) to ensure adherence to the remand pathway programs service delivery model\
- Consulting and liaising with prison staff, Offender Service staff, OBP staff and contracted program providers in relation to program delivery requirements\
