About this role:
The Employment Relations Specialist will provide specialist employment relations advice to business units and P&C Business Partners.
This includes providing advice on industrial instruments, employment arrangements, performance management, misconduct, personal illness, discrimination, sexual harassment, victimisation, and bullying.
The successful applicant will be degree qualified in employment law with experience working in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice on industrial instruments, employment arrangements, performance management, misconduct, personal illness, discrimination, sexual harassment, victimisation, and bullying.
- Support employees and management to settle employee disputes and workplace grievances by advising on and or conducting internal investigations or early resolution meetings.
- Support the resolution of individual workplace relations issues through advice on workplace policies and related employment and legal obligations.
- Assist the Senior Leadership team in implementing a strategic and consistent Employment Relations approach across the group.
- Review and maintain IR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation changes.
- Prepare reports on relevant matters as directed and required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Employment Law, Fair Work Act, and ER procedures and processes.
Experience in case management, investigations, compiling reports and recommendations.
