About This Role

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as an expert advisor, providing high-quality guidance to staff and leaders on employment relations and industrial relations matters.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely advice to employees and leaders on general employee relations and industrial relations matters;
  • Partner with senior leadership across the organisation to provide timely and accurate support and advice;
  • Support HR policy governance and development, enterprise bargaining activities, process improvement initiatives, and change management;
  • Manage relationships with third parties such as trade unions on employee matters;
  • Support senior HR Leaders through conciliation processes;
  • Collaborate and partner with other People & Culture teams to resolve issues;
  • Ensure effective records management, data integrity, reporting, and analytics;
  • Demonstrated experience in an Employment Relations Advisor or an Industrial Relations Advisor role or similar;
  • Knowledge of employment law and industrial instruments;
  • Ability to work independently while building collaborative relationships to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships across the organisation;
  • Ability to adapt to change, seeing it as an opportunity and creating positive outcomes;
  • Tertiary qualifications in employment relations, Human Resources, or similar discipline;
  • Previous experience supporting enterprise bargaining activities;
  • Proven experience working with various HRIS platforms (success factors would be an advantage);
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Working With Children Check (for paid work).
