We are seeking two full-time Case Workers based in Loganholme or Milton.

Role and Responsibilities:

Our Child & Family Wellbeing Service provides early intervention support to children and young people experiencing early signs of anxiety, depression, or behavioural issues.

As a Case Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working from a child-centred approach to help children and young people recognise and manage strong feelings and build resilience.
  • Offering skill building for children through strength-based, interactive activities.
  • Providing whole-of-family sessions alongside individual sessions with children, or one-on-one sessions with parents to improve resilience and strengthen the parent-child relationship.
  • Delivering workshops, groups, and community awareness sessions that promote social and emotional wellbeing.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in social work, human services, psychology, or similar.
  • At least 12 months' experience in the Community Services Sector in Early Intervention, Child Protection, or Mental Health.
  • Experience in undertaking comprehensive assessments with families and risk assessment/safety planning.
  • A child-centred and strengths-based approach to working with children and families in a mental health context.
  • Understanding of child protection issues and mandatory reporting responsibilities.
