Early Intervention Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact for children aged 0-6 years with developmental delays and their families.

About the Role:

As part of our dynamic team, you will be working closely with families to support each child's unique journey. We foster strong connections with families to ensure consistent and family-centred care.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional assessments for young children to determine appropriate supports
  • Collaborate with families and inter-disciplinary teams to implement individualised intervention plans
  • Provide direct services in both individual and group settings
  • Support families, educators, and professionals in creating inclusive environments and staying updated on best practices

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology (essential)
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (essential)
  • Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disability and their families
  • Openness to work in an innovative, dynamic and relationally informed early intervention model
  • Knowledge of early childhood intervention principles and best practice
  • Current drivers' license, willingness/ability to travel to clients (pool cars provided)
  • Current Blue Card
