Job Title: Child Welfare Specialist

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to deliver statutory child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework, and case management in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines. This involves working collaboratively with families, communities, and other stakeholders to provide support and guidance that promotes the best interests of children.

You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing tailored plans, and providing ongoing support to achieve positive outcomes. Your expertise will also be sought to inform policy and procedure development, ensuring that our service remains responsive to the needs of children and families.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor level qualification in social work, psychology, human services, or behavioural science
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination
