Job Role: Student Services Officer
About the RoleThe primary purpose of this position is to ensure seamless student attendance management, effective relief coordination, and a welcoming service experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily relief schedules, allocate reliefs as needed, and liaise with external staff to guarantee classroom coverage.
- Manage staff and community calendars.
- Support marketing efforts in producing the fortnightly school newsletter.
- Oversee the Consent2Go platform for all excursions, incursions, and camps.
- Coordinate annual school photograph days.
- Maintain SEQTA Daily Notices, providing editing services to present notices professionally.
- Support the Director of Students and Wellbeing Team as required.
- Assist with organizational needs of school events, especially Secondary Speech Night.
- Provide assistance with student attendance management when needed.
Desirable candidates will possess previous experience in a school administration or student services role, focusing on attendance or relief management. They should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines. A high level of interpersonal and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism, is essential.
This role requires an individual who can work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
